The VanEck Morningstar US ESG Wide Moat UCITS ETF (MOAT) invests in US equities with sustainable competitive advantages ("moats") and attractive valuations, applying ESG screens. It targets companies trading below Morningstar's fair value estimate and excludes those involved in controversial products or with high ESG risks. The fund underwent an index change in December 2021 to the Morningstar US Sustainability Moat Focus Index to incorporate ESG considerations more effectively.
