Aflac: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

Aflac Inc. (AFL) reported second-quarter earnings of $825 million, or $1.63 per share, with adjusted earnings of $1.75 per share, missing Wall Street expectations. The insurer posted revenue of $4.12 billion, and adjusted revenue of $4.00 billion, which beat Street forecasts. Aflac shares have increased 14% since the beginning of the year.
