Mexico to pay Vulcan Materials $15M in arbitration case, less than 1% of total claim (VMC:NYSE)

Mexico's government announced a favorable international arbitration ruling against Vulcan Materials, stating it secured dismissal of nearly all claims related to the 2018-2022 shutdown of the company's Mexican limestone operations. Mexico will pay Vulcan Materials $15 million, which is less than 1% of the total claim sought by Vulcan, covering only a January 2018 site closure.
