Firefly Aerospace Extends Lockheed Deal, Up to 25 Launches | FLY Stock News

Firefly Aerospace has extended its multi-launch agreement with Lockheed Martin by two years, allowing for up to 25 launches using its upgraded Alpha Block II rocket through 2031. This upgrade aims to enhance manufacturability, reliability, and responsiveness for 1,000 kg payload class missions, supporting national security, tactically responsive space, and commercial satellite needs. Additionally, Firefly is collaborating with Lockheed Martin and Seagate Space on sea-based launch concepts using Seagate’s Gateway offshore platform to provide flexible access to space from diverse locations.
